Do Metal Roofs Fade?

The paint on metal roofs can fade over a long period of time, but it is still much cheaper for a new coat of paint than it is to replace your roof. A shingle roof would usually have to be fully replaced before a metal roof will need a new coat of paint. Make sure to go with a very high quality paint on your roof to ensure you get maximum protection and a warranty to go with it. Anything over Kynar-500 rating should be fine.
